Why is Trench Challenge 2020 Postponed?

Currently with the island back in COVID19 PCOR-1 we are not able to produce the event due to strict government restrictions on gatherings and do not know when we will be back in PCOR-3 or 4 which allows us to run the event with modified starts and protocols that meet DPHSS and CDC guidelines.

Will my existing information be transferred to the rescheduled event?

Yes, all registrations will be automatically maintained and forwarded to the rescheduled event.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately, No. Trench events has always maintained a "No Refund" policy since 2016. Given the unprecedented effect of COVID-19 to the event industry, we are unable to make any exceptions. (Very similar to national, international, and local events like Spartan Race, Tokyo Marathon, and UGM) This is stated on the terms, conditions, waiver, and liability indemnification agreement which was mandatory for all registrants to check mark as read and understood on events.com before completing registration and payment. Fanshield ticket protection was also offered.

Further, on the events.com registration page, there were sections after filling in your information prior to check-out and payment referring to this policy.

We are the only local and one of the very few events in the nation that offers registration insurance for a very nominal fee ($3.99 - $9.00) by Fanshield. If you opted-in for this coverage and you qualify, you can file your claim directly at https://claims.fanshield.insure/#/

During this challenging time, however, we are temporarily expanding our refund policy to provide the following options for customers who refused insurance coverage and registered for 2020 events postponed by Trench Events:

​

  1.  Automatic registration deferment to a future 2020 or the 2021 event. 

  2.  Registration transfer to another racer. You will need to email info@trenchevents.com with your registration information and full information of proxy. (Replacement Participants full name, Email, Phone number, DOB, and race category)

When is the next event scheduled?

We will update you once we have something more solid. We are in communication with Government officials and staying current with allowances of gatherings and events. Trench Challenge requires 2 months in advance to schedule the course build-out and arrange for race materials so you should have ample notice once it's scheduled.
